Volunteer programs

At TLC Foodbank Aberdeen we will aim to source donations from commercial and domestic groups to stock and replenish the Foodbank. We appreciate all their donations and support. They are very beneficial to us and we will work closely with them to ensure we can make full use of their donations. At TLC Foodbank, we firmly believe that we can help meet real needs of people in crisis across Aberdeen.

Donation drives are usually carried out in local supermarkets and retail shops that agree to help us raise donations and/or funding to keep the TLC Food-bank running affectively. The standard procedure is to hand out shopping lists and leaflets to encourage the public to purchase extra items of food to donate to us.

If you'd like to get involved at our distribution sites on Wednesdays and/or Thrusday, volunteer in our stock room or on food drives at superarkets, please be in touch.

Become A Volunteer

We aim to gather a wide and varied range of volunteers from all different back grounds to establish a diverse organisation capable of keeping the project stable.

We ask volunteers to give us an outline of their skills and availability so we can make full use of their talents.
